Customer Testimonials

"Lizzy and the Barkin' Mad team are absolutely the best dog walkers around. We have used many dog walking services in the past but have been using Barkin' Mad for the best part of 4 years now. if we have any questions about any aspect of our two GSDs they are always around. They provide for the needs of both of our dogs whilst on their walks. We see how excited both dogs get when they walk through the door which is testament enough in our eyes! It can be a minefield out there with so many dog walkers offering this and that, trying to gain your custom. We truly trust Lizzy and the Barkin' Mad team with our fur babies and if I could give you any advice, you should too!"

"We feel so lucky to have found Lizzy. She's super organised and shows that she really cares for our dog and his progress. Our dog also seems to really love her! During one-to-one sessions, she gives clear and personalised feedback which we can put into practice straight away."

"Lizzy has a vast range of knowledge, tips and tricks and I would highly recommend her for both solo training and group classes. I work as a professional dog walker and she has been so useful and knowledgeable when dealing with some of my clients dogs quirks and issues. She has helped with things such as over arousal in the van, excessive boisterousness and settling dogs who struggle in certain environments. She is friendly, approachable and professional and I really enjoyed the sessions she ran for us. She uses up to date, positive reward-based training which is really important to me as a pet professional. I felt that I could ask extra questions and she was great at explaining things clearly and concisely and then demonstrating them in the environment in which they happen."

"I first, by pure chance, found Lizzy on Social media advertising a Chihuahua dog walking session and I thought perfect for my Chihuahua mix we were not sure exactly what as he was a rescue from Bleakholt Sanctuary. He was a lovely little dog in the house he was brilliant but on a walk he was a nightmare he went on full blown attack at any dog, person, bike, car, even if a bird flew overhead to the point my anxiety level was so high after a walk as dramatic as it sounds I was at my wits end, I just didn't know what to do as I was spending every walk hiding whenever I saw any of the above mentioned. I rang Lizzy who came to meet Ollie at our house and she was so calm and grounded. I thought if this lady can't sort him out no one can. We were told that he was approx seven and as the saying goes can't you teach an old dog new tricks well, Lizzy did luckily for me. She came the day after with her dog and Ollie went straight on attack mode but she kept calm and walked him and arranged to take him out twice a week, I truthfully was fifty fifty is this going to work, Lizzy put videos up on her social media of her walks and I was amazed he was walking with other dogs then within a really short time off lead, it was like we'd had some kind of miracle to the point we nervously began walking him off lead and he was a dream to take out. All the people who regularly walk there dogs locally we're as surprised as we were. If I hadn't by chance stumbled across Lizzy and her advertisement that day I really don't know what I'd have done luck was definitely on my side that day, and if you're reading this and need any help with any problem with your dog Lizzy is just the person you need her advice and training is second to none."

"We were so glad we took the decision to contact Lizzy to help us with our 16 week old puppy Nancy. From the minute Lizzy walked through the door the valuable advice kept flowing. She offered so many great hints and tips around building our confidence on how to best support Nancy around a number of issues. We wanted to give Nancy the best start that we could and Lizzy demonstrated lots of ways to help. In particular how to help Nancy settle down, how to stimulate her mentally and, because Lizzy brought her toddler Gracie, Nancy quickly learnt how to be gentle around little people and be okay about sharing toys and her bed.  Lizzy explained to us how to desensitise Nancy around things she may come across such as noises related to daily living, traffic, power tools, fireworks etc. Now Nancy is out on walks we’re going to engage Lizzy’s services again to build on our lead skills, meeting other dogs etc. It was a fun session and I highly recommend Lizzy for anyone wanting to help their dog be the best they can be."
