So, you might be wondering, what exactly is Mindful March? Well, it’s all about showing a little extra kindness and understanding towards other dogs and their owners.
There are so many reasons why you might see a dog on a lead – and it’s important to remember that each situation is unique!
Some dogs might be on lead because they’re not the biggest fans of other pooches, while others are still learning and perfecting their skills. Some may be a bit older and just enjoying a relaxed stroll, while a few could be on the mend following surgery.
Then there are dogs who might not have the best recall – that means they need to stay leashed for their safety and yours! Others might have certain health conditions or might be feeling a little sore in certain spots and could react if they’re touched. And don’t forget about those registered breeds that need a bit more consideration, like the XL Bully.
So, whatever the reason a dog is on a lead, let’s all be mindful and give both the owner and their furry friend some space. A little respect and understanding can go a long way, and it helps create a friendly atmosphere for everyone!
